Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Louisiana

I am trying to research a Louisiana Statute concerning Tax Deed law. The Statue in Question is La R.S. 47:2185 which was repealed January 1, 2009. My question is how do I go about finding out what date the statute was enacted? I am hoping there is an online resource to research this.

Go to the Louisiana legislature's web site. I believe it is at www.legis.state.la.us. You can view the full history of the law from introduction as a bill to final passage.
