Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Louisiana

resently rented a house for 725.00 under the pretense that they were gonna fix up on it, after paying rent and deposit found out they had no intension of working on it. the floors are tore up and some of the cabinets are rotted and mildew it is missing windows and no locks on the doors. what can i do ? i have no more money to rent another place and we are stuck. ihave 4 children and a 2 week old grandson.

You can sue through small claims court to get your rent monies returned.
