Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Louisiana

Can someone stand in court if they are taking care of the family property and no one wants to take care of it. How can we stand in court if your siblings did not have anything to do with the parents and the land they claims was not attended to and my family had to take care of it for them?

I don't know that I fully understand the question. If you are asking about whether your siblings can inherit though they have not taken care of family property, the will and Louisiana inheritance law will control. If you and your siblngs own property jointly from an inheritance, Louisiana law allows parties who don't wish to own property jointly to file a petition to separate themselves from the other property holders. This may involve selling the property and paying off those that don't wish to own the property with the others, or dividing the property into sections so that each may own a piece. If there have been costs associated with the care of the propery, then those paying the costs can seek reimbursement from those that haven't.
