Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in Louisiana
Is it discrimination if my boss tells me I am too heavy i.e., fat to sit on the hydraulic office furniture. Then pulls a straight back metal and resin chair for me to sit in?

No. Weight is not a protected class under the law. However, you may have some company rule against it.
It is not discrimination, but it's obnoxious. BTW, is he trim and fit? There is no cause for that type behavior. You need to decide whether it would be worth complaining about his statement and actions, neither of which were for the betterment of the company goals or the company's bottom line. However, be aware that your boss may be very good at producing profits for the company and/or for whatever reason is a favored employee and your complaint could backfire. Good luck.
