Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in Louisiana

why i was the one laid off

i was working at a small store been there for 15 months and i was working with an older man .he grabbed me between my legs 3 times and told me that he want to take me into the office and f me because there were no cameras and that i made his thing stick up. now i went to the manager and she recorded over the tape . the second time was when he pined me up against the wall and said he had me where he wanted me. i told my husband and the manager got mad .now i have beeen laid off due to sesonal slowdown but 2 other girls where hired and the old man still has his job .this does not sound fair. i have a witness that he did the same thing to her and i am having a hard time finding a lawyer before my statue of limitations run out. could you please help me or give me good advice as what to do.thank you diane

I cannot tell you why lawyers have not taken your case because I cannot explain the decisions of others. Also, I have only the information that you just gave.

For the same reason I cannot explain the actions of your boss.

All I can do is assure you that there are lawyers who will listen to you and evaluate your case based upon what they believe can be proven.
