Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in Louisiana

Is it legal for woman to be jailed where there is only male gaurds?

We had five woman jailed at a jail that had only male gaurds.I thought that this was not legal in this state.We were not searched but we were booked,transported,and gaurded by all males.Is this legal?

While it may not be wise, to my knowledge it is legal. Since the title refers to harassment, was there any abuse or harassment?
