Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in Louisiana
sexual harrasment
I have copies of numerous emails sent to me from my boss, with disgusting sexual content, copies of my cell bills where he calls intoxicated at late hours talking in a nasty manner. He is always making sexual remarks at the office and has grabbed me without consent. Can you guide me in the right direction I can not work one more day in this enviornment but am a single mom with no other job option at this time

Re: sexual harrasment
First thing you must do is report him to his boss or if that is not possible, go all the way to the head of the corporate office. In order to hold the company liable, you have to have told them about this guy. Unless of course he has done this in the past to others and they know about him already.
Re: sexual harrasment
You should have an employee handbook which will have a company sexual harassment policy in it. That policy will tell you who you are to complain to. You must follow that policy to the letter.
I would recommend speaking to an attorney directly immediately. It seems clear from your email that you have a case. I am certain any attorney who handles sexual harassment would be more than willing to speak with you and guide you. It would be best to have that guidance from day one.
