Our granddaughter and her 2 children (4yrs&18mos) live with us. She stays home and cares for the children(no high school diploma) , The father of both children just started paying child support in July
($365.00/mo) . They were never married.We pay all of the excess expenses and provide them with a stable home. Can we claim them on our income tax? I've read the requirements for dependent claim but I am still not sure. Thank you,
