Legal Question in Traffic Law in Louisiana
I have 3 traffic tickets at approximately $265 each. They are from over 10 years ago. I missed the court dates for them back then. I went to prison about a year later. I served 9 years. Now I'm out and living responsibly. I need to get my license reinstated, but I must get clearance on these tickets. I can not afford to pay them, and they won't allow partial payments. My question is how many days will I have to serve in jail on each violation if I opt to serve time in jail instead of paying the fines? Please help with counsel.

Contact the courts that have the tickets and ask. This is essentially the question, "How severe will my sentence be?" Ultimately this is the sentencing judge's decision.
