Legal Question in Traffic Law in Louisiana
Car wreck payment
Several months ago I was involved in a minor fender bender in my car. The other party said that I could trust them and so we did not call the police but rather exchanged information. Though her information is correct she seems to be ignoring my calls and has yet to pay me anything for the damages to my car. Does she have any legal obligation to pay me? Can she get in trouble with the law for not paying me?

Re: Car wreck payment
You can sue her. As to criminal liability you are just as guilty of failing to report as she is.
