what happens when you go to court for a drving ticket and suspended license?

It is unlikely that you will go to jail if you are found guilty of driving on a suspended license, but the fines can be very heavy. More than that, your insurance rates will skyrocket, assuming any insurance company will insure you at all with that sort of conviction or guilty plea on your record.
