Legal Question in Traffic Law in Louisiana
My daughter was pulled over in front of her son's school for an expired brake tag. At that time she was handcuffed and taken to jail for an arrest warrant that was for a 13 year old speeding ticket that had been paid and shown as "cleared"
She was extremely humiliated! She was cleared and let go. Does she have any recourse?

Possibly. There is a cause of action for false arrest and false imprisonment. Whether the facts in her case fit would need more investigation. Talk to an attorney who practices in the parish where she was arrested.
