Legal Question in Traffic Law in Louisiana
as i exited the interstate a vehicle passed up the exit, realized she wanted this exit,came across the solid white line the safety lane and jumped in front of me causing me to hit her on the right side and rear. she got a ticket. her insurance co. says she is only 65% at fault. how can this be?

It isn't right. You will likely have to sue the insurance company to get them to pay, but they should have to pay 100%. If your case involved personal injuries, you can find any local attorney to handle your case for nothing out of your pocket. If there were no injuries and only property damage, you won't be able to find a lawyer unless you pay them out of your pocket. Still, if you were not personally injured, but need to file suit, you can do so in small claims court if the damage to your car amounts to less than $5,000.
