Legal Question in Traffic Law in Louisiana

I live in North Carolina. My daughters are college students in New Orleans, LA. They use a family car that is registered to me in NC. I just received 2 photo safety violations in the mail. One is for speeding in a school zone and the other is for driving through an intersection after the yellow light turned red. We don't know for sure which daughter was driving. Do I have to pay the fines? Don't they have to prove who was driving? Whatever happened to being innocent until proven guilty? They have not provided a picture of the person that was driving the car.

Come on down to New Orleans and fight it......you might win! The owner of the car will be liable for whoever is driving their car in this situation. Even if it were your uncle and not your daughter. I suggest calling the city or state or whomever issued the ticket and see if they will amend it to non-moving and pay that ticket......it will be the same but won't affect your insurance. Then make the daughters pay you back. Otherwise if there is a bench warrant put out for your failure to appear, one day, and it may be 5 years from now you will be on vacation and all of a sudden you are arrested under that warrant. Then the fun begins.
