Legal Question in Traffic Law in Louisiana

Speeding ticket

I recently got a Speeding ticket in Louisiana. The cop was out of his car using a laser gun. his car was by a bunch of trees and only visible right when you get up on it. When he gave me the ticket and was about to leave he made a statement that he had to ''get back to his hiding spot to catch some more'' Do I have any grounds of calling this entrapment since he called it a hiding spot?

Re: Speeding ticket

No. There is a difference between entrapment (the police entice a person to commit a crime they would not otherwise commit) and surveillance (observing circumstances seeking criminal behavior). Unless the officer caused you to speed it is not entrapment.
