Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Louisiana
I had 2 vehicles placed in my father in laws name only for insurance purposes. i am the one who paid for it. He signed the back of the titles but suddenly passed away, my sister in law knew the whole time that it was mine and one time she was going to purchase the car before he ever deceased. now since his death they all turned greedy. she placed my cars in succession knowingly that i was the one who they r really for. she placed a warrant saying auto theft falsely. what can i do? also i had interests in his succession which she listed me me a a debtor but now she has changed everything. i am scared of her. they are tearing me apart. what can i do to prove mishandling of the estate and help with my warrant ?

You need an attorney. There will have to be evidence that the cars were yours. You shouldn't have any interest in the succession estate unless he left something to you in the will because you were only related by marriage. If there were debts owed you, then you should be listed as a creditor. If you owed him money, it will have to be proved by documents.
