my 23 yr old son died 10/15/10 in an automobile accident. He had no children and he lived with me his mother. he owns no property. He has no checking account. The car insurance company said I had to open up a succession before they can discuss anything with me. Do I have to open a succession?

You should get to a personal injury attorney immediately. You will need to file suit if he was not at fault in the acvident.. for his loss.
