Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Louisiana
I and my four bothers have inherited my mother�s home here in Louisiana. One of my bothers lives in the house which is paid for. Are we allowed to force him to pay rent to and account set for maintenance, and repairs on the house.

No one is forced to own property jointly. You can have the property sold and the proceeds split or he could buy you out. If rent and maintenance were requested it would be only a pro rata share.
