Can I get a copy of my grandfathers will?

My grandfather was recently deceased in Louisiana and I was wondering if I could recieve a copy of his will without his son, the executor knowing?

Depends on La. law , for instance in Il. a will must be filed and is public reord, so you could just go to the courthouse to see a filed will in the county he lived, But La. is different in many respects since it is based on Napoleonic code , not old english law like Ia. or Il.
