Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Louisiana
my dad has a Will fixed so when he passes, he has named all his kids in the Will, my question is, can the stepchildren contest the Will, my step mom passed away 4 years ago, the stepchildren got their mothers things, now I am wondering if they are my dad heirs as well

No. He can will his estate to his own children and cut out his stepchildren totally. He has no legal obligation to them.

Even if he died without a will, his share would only go to his biological and adopted children.
