Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Louisiana
My father passed away and I am beneficiary on a credit union account he opened 5 years before marrying my stepmom. Am I entitled to the account as soon as I recieve death certificate or do I have to wait for succession?

Check with the credit union, and see how the account is set up.
It may be that as the beneficiary you can claim the account before the succession is done.
