Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Louisiana
My father passed away and named my step-mother sole beneficiary in his will. They do not have any children together. Her daughter was appointed the executor. Do my brothers and I have a right to a portion of his estate?

If neither of you are younger than 23 years, it does not sound like it. He can give his property to whomever he wishes.
