Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Louisiana
Father passed in 2016. Will was probated but he had a mortgage that I'm still paying. I need to know what will happen if I stop making payments.I'm not working.I live in louisiana and the home is in alabama.

This is really an Alabama question, since that is where the property is located, and Alabama probate law would apply.
In general, if you stop making the mortgage payments the mortgage holder will eventually foreclose on the property.
