if my father remarried after my mother passed but never changed the name on the home they purchased together when my father is deceased does the new wife have any rights to the home?

When your mother died, she owned 1/2 the property, the ownership of which would go to her kids subject to the use by your dad. The new wife would only have a small claim, if any at all depending on several factors. All this would change if your dad left a will.
