who has to file the succession my mother who i gave power of attorney to im the only child of my dad that dead .can she file the seccession if i prepeared the affidavit of small estate when i prepear the affidavit can i put all her info like she prepeared it are dose it have to be my info in the affidavit since im the heirs of his estate and if it has to be my info could she take it to the courts and file it for me because my dad and mom both live state of la and i live in the state of Ga and im not able to go down there and do it all it will have to be filed in the court of st mary paish thank for your time in this matter...

You can give your mother power of attorney to handle all matters dealing with the succession of your father. The power of attorney can be mailed back and forth, but will have to be notarized where you sign it.
