Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Louisiana

me and my husband has been married for 3 years. my husband has property before we got married and he has where i get to live here ,until i die or remarry than his kids has to sell everything. My husband help me get property in mississippi and i had him sign a pieece of paper saying that if anything happens to him the property in mississipp all go's to me .is that paper legal and can his kids take it away from me ,even thought he didn't leave that in his will. thank you ,enid palmer

He needs to sign a document declaring that he has no ownership interest and that it is your separate property. This document has to be filed with clerk of court for the county

where the property is located.
