does my husband have any rights to my upcoming inheiritance? He has been very abusive and cheated on me. I want a divorce. What if my inheiritance comes before the divorce?

Even if he had tried to kill you and all your family...or in prison for life....or if he was a Saint, or President of the U.S. or the Pope or you name it........HE HAS NO RIGHT TO YOUR INHERITANCE--NO MATTER IF YOU ARE MARRIED TO HIM OR DIVORCED OR MARRY HIM AFTER THE INHERITANCE. However, you must know that as long as you are married to him any income that inherited property is producing would be community, and he would therefore be entitled to 1/2.
