Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Louisiana

L.A succession laws doesn't clearly states procedures on selling property that is specfically designated for an heir. Can I sell inherited property? I'm executor of my grandma's estate, my grandma solely owned two properties in Louisiana. One is 2/3 constructed ( free and clear of title) , and the other has a reverse mortgage, but as stated in the will both are to be inherited by my Uncle and the rest of her estate are left for me to split among my cousin and brother. However we don't have any money in the estate account. and I still haven't yet secured 11 lots and 1 property in florida. So, can I sell the property free and clear of title to secure ownership of property in florida, pay attorney fees, claims, and debts against the estate?

You can't sell property of the estate without leave of court until you have been placed into legal possession of the property.

I agree with Mr. Lambert. You better get a competent attorney to help you with this one and not just rely on free online help.
