Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Louisiana

Hi! I live in La. I had a brother that died in 1994 leaving me and 2 other brothers his 5 acres and 2 houses. In the Judgement of Possession, it says we are entitled to the naked ownership and sent into possession of all property, subject however to the joint and successive usufruct in favor of the deceased's parents. My question is then are my brothers and I considered joint tenants, or tenants in common?

Joint tenancy and tenancy in common are common-law terms not used in Louisiana.

You and your brother are co-owners, subject to the usufruct.
