how long does an executor have to complete succession in Louisiana? my sister is executor and she has not done anything for a year. Is there a time limit? she will not talk to the other two benificaries

There is no time limit, but the executor has the obligation to complete a succession as soon as is reasonably possible, and can be removed from office for failure to do this.
