Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Louisiana

In Louisiana, I am a forced heir. Found out my parents put all their property into a living revocable trust in 2000. I get 10% as set forth in the trust. Is it possible the trust can be overridden by my forced heir ship and I can still get the one fourth I should be legally entitled to? The trust is acreage and a home worth $300 thousand in this bad market.

Any legacy which impinges on your forced portion is invalid. If you are a forced heir and they left you left than the forced portion, you can invalidate that. An attorney would have to look at the will and the circumstances to tell you more, but you state a case for sure.
