Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Louisiana

my mom is in her 50's she was in a nursing home and went in a mental hospital and met a man since then she has left the nursing home and moved out for a month then moved back in the nursing home witch she did for a month and then left again she is on at least 16 different medicines and it worries me her being on her own her dr's even said she needed to be in the nursing home i don't know what to do any help you could give me to help her she needs to be in the nursing home were she can be taken care of is there any way i can get power of attorney so i can make sure she is were she is watched and taken care of

You can petition the court to interdict her and appoint you as curator. A full interdiction is when the person is unable to care for themselves or thei affairs. A limited interdiction is when the person cannot take care of one of the above.
