Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Louisiana

my mother is 85 my father decease the only thing they owned 1 house & land it's on.We are 5 siblings, 1 decease can she will the house to my sister who cares for her, and pays all the home repairs etc. we all agree to this without the cost of a succession, she can't afford it what kind of legal paper work we would need thanks

She can make a will leaving her estate to anyone she chooses as long as their is no child under 23 or interdicted. When she passes, a succession will have to be opened for both her estate and your father's. At that time, the heirs can sign a document which relinquishes their claim on the estate in favor of your sister.
