Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Louisiana

My mother justed passed away without a will and my sister wants to open succession on my deaceased father first and then my mother. Do I have to agree on the opening of succession and if so there are accounts with just my name do i have to share the monies in those accounts with my other siblings?

Anyone,even a creditor, can cause a succession to be opened. Yes, the parent's succession who died first must be done first. If the monies in accounts are the property of either estate, they must be accounted for. If they were gifts during life, they do not.
