Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Louisiana
My mother recently passed away and she didn't have a will. My father has been deceased for 3 years. I have 3 siblings. The question is about the family home. My older sister wants to sell the home, but the other 3 children do not. Can she force the sale of the home? We live in Louisiana if that makes a difference in the answer.

The four of you own the house as co-owners. Your older sister could force a sale of the property by a process called Partition by Licitation, but it is a fairly complex and expensive legal proceeding, and she would bear all of the costs.
Why not try to buy her out?
