If your mother has passed away and you are listed as her heir, you need to probate the will with the Court and have yourself placed into possession of the estate property. The process is not very difficult in most cases and can be done in a couple of weeks. You need to file a Petition for Probate and for Possession, along with a Detailed Descriptive List of all the estate property, a certified copy of the Death Certificate, and an Affidavit of Death & Heirship. All of that is filed with the Court and the Court will place you in possession of the estate property.

Once you get the Judgment, you record it in the conveyance record and you're done.
