It really does not matter except Louisiana is a community property state and West Virginia is not. The will must be legal in the State where it is prepared and upon your demise, the succession can be opened in the place you died or any place you had property. Additionally, once the succession is opened, a ancillary proceedings will have to be opened in every place the person has immovable property. If you are speaking about your driver's license, you need to have one issued in Louisiana.
