How do I obtain a Judgement of Possession?
My father died without a will.I`m due for some money from a program called The Road Home for payment on my father`s property in Lacombe,La.from damage caused by Hurricane Katrina.A J.O.P.
is the last step in this process.

You will need to open a succession in order to obtain a judgment of possession. The succession is intestate when there is no will. There is an entire procedure that has to be followed.
