Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Louisiana

I have a older brother who has been given power of attorney over my parents finances. Can i be held financially responsible for debts incurred by financial decisions made by my brother during that period..also can i change any decisions made by him thta i dont think are sound, or am i totally at his mercy

It has nothing to do with you. It has to do with your parents. Whatever he does impacts them, not you and unless you get the power of attorney rescinded, you have no right to change anything he does by virtue of the power of attorney. You will not be held responsible for anything you do not obligate yourself for. Of course what happens now will no doubt have a direct effect on any inheritance you might have expected to receive.
