Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Louisiana

What is the procedure and/or steps to begin the transferring of ownership of deceased parents (no will) to a child when a succession is not required or necessary? With whom and where do I begin?

This question may have been answwered before.

The transfer can be done by affidavit. You would need an attorney to draft and file the necessary documents to change the ownership of the property from parents to child.
