Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Louisiana

Pryer Intent

If a spouse dies without a will, what happens to his estate (property, cars, stocks, etc.) if a lawyer has pryer knowledge of a legal matter that does not get completed before his death? What if there are witnesses outside of the lawyer and family that knew of his intent?

Re: Pryer Intent

This has no effect on the property of the decedant. His, or her, estate will be divided under the laws of intestacy...with all the property going to the nearest forced heirs.
