Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Louisiana

Two of my four sisters (including myself) received money from an annuity my father left for us after his passing last year. The fourth sister was not named a beneficiary. The attorney who opened my father's succession has placed a "debt" for the same amt of money each of the three sisters received from the annuity in favor of the fourth sister. Two of us are refusing to sign the succession papers, me included, because my father had reason to leave her out as a beneficiary. Is there any part of La law that would justify her filing a claim against my father's estate? Can she do that? Could we be forced to give her a portion of our inheritance so her share would have to equal ours...which would include what we received from the annuity? I live in TN now, but my father passed in Louisiana.

The attorney who placed the "debt" on the succession may just be protecting himself, or it may be a debt. If there is a substantial sum involved, or you just need to know what is legal, you need to speak with an attorney face to face and not here.
