Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Louisiana
my stepfather died 20 years ago and my mother has been living on the property all this time ..my stepfather left a small percentage of the land to HIS 2 kids....neither of whch has been back or called in those 20 years....my mother has been paying all bills such as excess medical...taxes..upkeep..etc, all this time....what does she need to do to either collect from ?? or buy out?? the 2 kids, so she can sell?? her share is half...half of his half and one third of the last half...the other two thirds going to the 2 kids..
