Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Louisiana
ONE SURVIVING PARENT has two living children and one deceased child. When the last living parent dies, do the two living children split everything? Do the children of the deceased child take the place of their deceased parent and have any claim to the property?

The property is split 3 ways unless the person leaves a will. Then it depends on the will and age of children. So parent could give it all away if they choose.
