Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Louisiana

My uncle in New Orleans, LA, recently passed away, and in his will he left me an art deco lamp, worth no more than $100. While he was alive, he told me he'd leave me money when he died. That was a verbal communication but not backed up by legal written certification. My question is can I, one of two remaining blood relatives, dispute that I wasn't left money and how likely is it I will prevail to acquire money from his estate if three other individuals, two of which are people suing for car accidents they had with him, and the other is a disgruntled former head employee, are contesting as well. Sincerely, Liat
