Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Louisiana
Considering the will doesn't specify which piece of estate each heir gets, can the executor determine which piece they get? or sell it and deliver each share to the heirs?

The estate can be sold and divided or the heirs can agree how they wish to divide it. The executor does not have the authority to do it on their own.
