Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Louisiana

If I do a will, can I just put the share of one of my children in a trust to be admistered in monthly pmts? He is sick and will never get better and his wife is just waiting for my death to claim then money.

A trust would work to protect that child's inheritance.

If the child is receiving benefits government because of inability to work, you may have to use a "special needs" trust to protect these benefits.
