Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Louisiana

I been looking for Wills for married with child/children for the State of Louisiana and didn't see a selection. Can you tell me if you have on and which is is? I alsoo was told that you cannot disherit your child. Which is okay if true but I hope not and if so. Is there a law or minimum. Thanks again your help and support. My email is [email protected]

You can execute a will without an attorney in two ways. You can prepare an olographic will by writing your wishes in your own handwriting, signing and dating each page. You can seal it in an envelope and bring to a notary who can have you attest that it is your will and notarize that on the wales envelope. You will need two witnesses who will attest that the sealed document was your will. It is not a costly matter to have an attorney prepare one for you. You can disinherit a child if they are over the age of 23 and do not suffer from a disability.
