Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Louisiana

Wills and Succession

After 8 years of being widowed, he marries. 5 months later, the children take him to an attorney to sign succession documents, which was drawn up by a lifetime attorney friend of the family, that he trusts with all his being. Little did he realize, the children end up with all of the community property (all but the vehicle, boat, and a camp) that he and his deceased spouse had accumulated in the years, and two-thirds of all the money. Now it's been eleven years, since the signing of the succession documents, he stumbles across a written olographic will from the deceased spouse. Can anything be changed or fixed for this broken-hearted man, that had so much trust and love for his children and the family attorney friend?

Re: Wills and Succession

He should contact an attorney immediately, bringing the newly found will. The succession can be re-opened.

The amount of difficult litigation is related to how much the children object.
