Legal Question in Workers Comp in Louisiana

settlement

Can a employee and employer settle a claim with a noterized signed release. Will a signed and noterized release hold up in court. Does this release employeer of future damages if the release says so. Thanks

Unless one of the parties to a contract can claim a defense to enforcing that contract, then the contract is the law between the parties.
